To ensure a smooth transition, the user will be rewarded with compensation in the form of Gold Points, equivalent to the remaining days of their existing Nintendo Switch Online membership. The compensation programme will only cover the duration of the added membership. If the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership expires before the other, the user will automatically revert back to their previous membership.
